Our suffering has the capacity of showing us the path to liberation.
— Thich Nhat Hanh

Most anything sacred is usually hidden and heavily guarded. We could also view your Anjali as a divine offering that is hidden inside of, and fiercely protected by, that which also causes you pain. The good news is that, while much of the pain we experience simply by being alive might be unavoidable—and often beyond our control—the suffering we experience is completely optional and within our control to manage.

In other words, how we relate to the experience of hardship, in whatever form manifests, is directly related to how much suffering we experience in our mind and body. The above words of Thich Nhat Hanh suggest suffering can show us the way to freedom, supporting the idea that hidden within suffering is a direct pathway to liberation.

Anjali Healing Arts (AHA) is committed to a decolonized, intuitive, and integrative approach to wellbeing that includes and celebrates the diverse aspects of every person. The AHA philosophy is that, in order to be fully seen and understood, our existence and presence must be perceived and received in such a way that our biological, psychological, religious, spiritual, cultural, sexual, age, gender, socio-economic, educational, racial, ethnic, and family background, history, and experiences are honored and welcome. The AHA approach recognizes the limits of most traditional approaches to psycho-somatic wellness. To promote and maintain integral healing and embodied self-awareness practices, AHA deepens and evolves the healing process, by integrating various elements from clinically proven and effective mind/body/spirit/ancestral/indigenous-based healing arts modalities and therapeutic philosophies.

Side-by-side, we will explore the potent potential of intuitive and integrative wellness practices that create space between you and the suffering you experience, moving you closer to the resilience, basic goodness, and wellness you already possess. With a spirit of curiosity—and from a co-created foundation of safety, trust, and respect—we will methodically investigate internal conditions that impede the full embodiment of your inborn power, wellness, and freedom.
